Experience the Great Outdoors with Madeline & Ge on the Devil's Road, as they backpack from Mt. Whitney to Yosemite on the John Muir Trail in the summer of 2021. Madeline and Ge were noobs who did the research and took to the Road ("On the Devil's Road" refers to the perceived daunting hardships on the trail for newcomers). This film ended up being about a lot of things: the Trail, people, mosquitos, food, rocks, blisters, charging into the great wide open after the sedentary lifestyle brought on by the pandemic. ("It's better to burn out, than to fade away" as the song goes!) But most of all, this is a film about the nature of experience.
This documentary was initially created for family and friends. But since you are here...stay a while and walk, with Madeline and Ge on the Devil's Road.
